Re: *Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood*
I've heard both FMA and Brotherhood were mediocre, not great and not bad, but that's just what I've heard from a few others. I've also heard a few people say they are great, though those same people also love Naruto, which makes me kinda leery about their opinions. I have yet to watch FMA or Brotherhood myself, though, so I can't really judge either way.

I always say everyone has there likes and dislikes not everyone can like the samething. But so far on what I watched on Brotherhood the story goes more further then the original series and more different things happen. I also heard its more based on the manga.

Pretty much, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I also heard that it follows the manga a lot more than the original. It's sounded to me like something that appeals to people who enjoy the typical shounen, which isn't particularly my cup of tea.
Re: *Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood*
Yeah its pretty much a typical shonen in most aspects, but I would say its probably one of the best in the typical shonen genre honestly. The story is fairly compelling and umm flowy and interesting, round characters only compliment that. Edward is a very typical shonen main character, which is rather disappointing but its the side characters that really bring alot of life into the series.
Re: *Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood*
Yeah, seems like I had heard that about the characters too. It is definitely a show that I want to give a watch, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. So many other shows I have yet to watch o_o

I enjoyed both of them. I really like how they did a pretty good ending despite the manga not being out (for the original one) which is rare to see. I love all of Funimations voice actors/actresses so that also makes me enjoy it that much more. (for the record, I'm not a fan of Naruto I would probably like it if they cut the fillers...)

Re: *Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood*
I do have a certain amount of respect for trying to finish out an incomplete series. I've heard similar things about Naruto, though. One of my coworkers and my boss both like it, and they've said that it's good if you know which filler episodes to skip. I'm still kinda "meh" about the whole show, though. Not that I've watched it a ton.
Endings
But sometimes the endings have been done way too many times..or at least the general concept of the ending
