Just finished Digimon Tamers (season 3)

Gotta say I was a bit disappointed. Actually that kinda describes how I felt about the last three episodes really. Seemed really repetitive and such. Also, D Reaper was kinda lame. The final episode had a good twist to it which I enjoyed. Also like the camaraderie between the adult characters who worked on the original digimon. Felt real chummy like like good college buddies do. But yeah overall, kinda a meh ending speckled with flavors of goodness though. Oh one more thing, I almost cried when the ark sacrificed itself to help Galantmon.

As far as Digimon series' go, I thought it wasn't bad. I do appreciate that they tried to go with a bit of a darker story, but it was still fairly average. It may sound like a whole "rose-colored goggles" sort of thing, but I do tend to think the first two series were the best. Tamers was average, and everything after that (that I ever saw, anyway) just kept getting worse and worse. Overall, Tamers felt more like a way to push the card game than trying to lead the series in a new direction.

Also, it slightly irritates me when someone refers to the different series as seasons, because they technically aren't. There is more than one season for each individual series, so it's not really a correct way of referring to them. Just sayin'.

I never really thought about the whole season/series thing I guess. In the torrent I got it was labeled as Season 3 Tamers so I went ahead with that. But yeah, valid point about promoting the card game. Admittedly Id like to actually play it, buuuuut from what I know the cards have stopped being made :\

From what I saw/had of the cards, it wasn't really that good of a card game either. I just sorta collected them, like with Pokemon.
